In this project, ACE-Research assisted the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Trust in aligning with their sustainability goals by reviewing decarbonisation strategies for healthcare facilities. ACE-Research provided a critical analysis of the Trust’s Green Plan, focusing on decarbonising heat and power while mapping relevant policies and funding sources. The study aimed to guide the Trust’s transition to low-carbon operations, which included exploring cost-effective energy efficiency measures and sustainable practices to lower the carbon footprint across healthcare buildings.
