The project, which is the first of its kind in the UK healthcare sector, will deliver a substantial range of technical energy saving solutions at Musgrove Park Hospital, Taunton, reducing average energy consumption by more than 40% and cutting carbon emissions by 43%.

Some 180 individual solutions are being implemented over the life of the project to reduce energy consumption, minimise risk and tackle reactive maintenance.
