Ocean joined ADE: Demand in August 2025 and is the Flexibility Policy Manager.
Prior to joining, Ocean worked on shipping decarbonisation policy at the United Nations International Maritime Organisation. He also spent time working for the DESNZ and DEFRA parliamentary select committees. Originally from California, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from Stanford University and a Master's in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics, where he focused on carbon pricing and maritime decarbonisation.
In his spare time, Ocean is a salsa dance instructor and enjoys football.
