Nick Winser
President
Nick been a key figure in the energy sector for more than 30 years, with extensive leadership experience across energy systems, markets and regulation. He previously served as CEO of National Grid in the UK and Europe, and has held senior roles including President of ENTSO-E and Chair of CIGRE UK.
He currently serves as Electricity Networks Commissioner, advising the government on accelerating the delivery of critical electricity network infrastructure. Nick is also a member of the Net Zero Expert Group, expert advisor to NISTA, and a non-executive director at the Gas and Electricity Market Authority. He previously chaired Energy Systems Catapult for a decade.
