Exergy3’s ultra-high temperature thermal energy storage technology is a decarbonisation game-changer.  Its modular, high-performing system can decarbonise thermal process used by SMEs and large-scale industry up to 1000ºC.  It both supports grid flexibility services and takes its electrical energy at advantageous times as it can charge while providing process heat.  Easily scalable, compact, and highly efficient our technology is ready now to support net zero targets across several sectors providing green, low-cost heat for industrial use and additional revenue through side demand response.  A spinout from the University of Edinburgh, Exergy3 is currently delivering its demonstrator project at Annandale Distillery where its technology will decarbonise the whisky distillation process.
