The Humber region is one of four clusters selected by Government in their CCUS competition. VPI expect over 3 million tonnes of CO2 to be captured, compressed and safely stored from 2027.
The Humber industrial cluster, alone, supports 1 in 10 jobs within the Humber region and contributes £18 billion to the UK economy.
