The network is powered by an impressive array of CHP engines, gas boilers and ground source heat pumps. Citigen is a significant solution for the City of London’s environmental goals, providing the equivalent heating and cooling for tens of thousands of homes.
Originally a coal fired power station, the site shows how we can decarbonise whilst protecting local jobs and still providing quality energy to consumers.
